Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We are closely monitoring advice from the Government but at present there are no restrictions on this event taking place. This is a relatively small-scale event, and based in the great outdoors, so we are very optimistic that the event will go ahead as planned. Should we need to postpone the event we will email ticket holders directly straight away.

Registration will take place in the exhibition centre at Battlefield 1403. Cars can be parked on their front field, just follow the signs on arrival. The trail will be a big loop finishing at the Battlefield Church, which means it won’t be far to get back to your car at the end of the trail.

Public transport in Shrewsbury is limited on Sundays. If you can get to the centre of Shrewsbury or to Shrewsbury train station, then you will need to get a taxi the rest of the way, which will cost around £7.

Much of the route is off road on uneven surfaces and over stiles therefore we are very sorry, but this event is not suitable for anyone with accessibility issues.

Sturdy, sensible shoes for a long walk are a necessity. We recommend checking the weather before you set off and dressing appropriately. We anticipate sunhats and sun cream will be needed, but you may need to be prepared with waterproofs depending on the forecast.

We will do our best to meet your dietary requirements but would appreciate as much notice as possible so we can inform our catering teams. Only requirements and not preferences will be catered to.

People with severe food allergies are not recommended to partake in the event as we will be serving food in an open environment which will make cross contamination harder to control.

Dogs are welcome but they must stay on leads at all times, and owners please clean up after your four-legged friends!

You are welcome to buy tickets for children but please note we only have one ticket price for all ages (regardless if they are able to sample the provided alcoholic drinks or not). If you want to bring a child with you without paying for a ticket, we are happy for them to come on the walk, but they will not be provided any food or drink. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch for them.

All paying participants will be issued with a wristband, anyone not wearing a wristband will not be offered refreshments.

There will be toilet facilities located at each stop off.
